Friday Night BBQs

A huge tradition at The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club is our Friday night barbecues. From April through September, we feature a different line-up of some of Tucson’s favorite bands. We fire up the mesquite wood barbecue and grill a variety of value-priced items with your favorite sides. Grab your lawn chair or blanket and while the kids play in the pool enjoy some good music in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Lifeguards are on duty.

Music – 6pm-9pm

  • Open to non-members for $7 per person
  • Members and accompanied guest are admitted at no charge

Party Guidelines

  • No jumping castles, water slides, confetti, silly string, etc. permitted.
  • All parties must be confirmed/food ordered at least 72 hours prior with a credit card. Any cancellations less than 48 hours will be charged a $200 cancellation fee.
  • $250 minimum food/drink order plus tax and gratuity
  • 3-hour time limit (strictly enforced)
  • All attendees must follow all posted Club rules
  • Children under 7 must be supervised by enough adults (one adult for every five children)
  • If use of the pool is to be included, and there is no lifeguard on duty at the time of the party, a lifeguard will be put on duty and paid for by the Host at the cost of $25 per guard per hour. Minimum of two guards for a minimum of 2 hours. Guards are normally on duty from late May until mid-August. Please inquire for other times/months.

We offer a great atmosphere for all to enjoy a hassle-free event! From birthday parties to pickleball events, we offer it all!

Outdoor Parties

We offer a great atmosphere under one of our outdoor ramadas for parents and children alike to enjoy a hassle-free event. Ramada rental is $70 for members ($100 non-members) for 3 hours, which includes: paper plates, cups, napkins, utensils and a server. We have tables and chairs available for rent. A few things to consider while planning your party.

Indoor Parties

We also rent our out indoor restaurant called the Rillito Room. For room rental only the cost is $200.

You may not bring any food or beverages (except in cases of severe allergies), the exception being a cake and ice cream which we will be happy to refrigerate and store for you. Call the Banquet Department for further information.

Pickleball Events

We offer paddles and equipment to rent while your party enjoys playing the best social game of all time. Court fees and food fees separate.

Our private event spaces are perfect for birthday parties, corporate events, and other special occasions. To request a private event reservation, please fill out the form below with your contact information and event details. Our event coordinator will be in touch with you shortly to confirm your reservation and answer any questions you may have.
