Baba Marimba is a Tucson-based band with over a decade of experience, known for their unique “World Beat Fusion” sound. Their performances blend baritone and soprano marimbas, kalimbas, electric viola, horns, and a wide range of global percussion instruments to create a rich, rhythmic, and energetic experience.
Drawing from Latin, Jazz, African, Reggae, and R&B influences—with touches of tango and waltz—their original compositions are dynamic, vibrant, and built to get people moving.
