Social Benefits of Group Classes

Published On: May 24, 2024

Group exercise classes are an excellent way for members to stay active and engaged while enjoying the social benefits of meeting like-minded people. These classes provide opportunities to make new friends and build social connections. Exercising with a friend also increases accountability and motivation, making workouts more enjoyable and consistent.

At Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, we offer a diverse selection of over 75 complimentary classes each week. Our offerings range from aquatic workouts to Zumba, strength conditioning, tennis, pickleball, and yoga, all of which can be adapted for seniors. Aquatic classes, for instance, provide low-impact, joint-friendly workouts. Yoga offers various health benefits, including improved balance, stability, flexibility, joint health, reduced high blood pressure, and anxiety.

All new members at Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club receive a complimentary consultation with one of our certified personal trainers. This ensures a thorough needs assessment before starting any fitness routine. Whether you prefer structured classes or self-directed workouts, our facilities cater to all fitness levels and interests. Our trainers provide personalized advice and recommend suitable classes, ensuring a safe and effective approach to fitness. Additionally, with amenities such as cardio and weight machines, tennis and pickleball courts, and a dedicated kids’ club for childcare, prioritizing your health and well-being has never been easier.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast or a beginner, we’re dedicated to supporting you on your path to improved health. Contact us for some free tips at trfc@tucsonracquetclub.com or 520-795-6960.
