At a tumultous time of change I joined the “Racquet club”. I was weighed down by losses but quickly gained so much more in terms of being part of a healthy and happy community at this club.This club has served as a refuge from a stormy life and has been not only a place to exercise, but a deep well for friendships. Starting with the friendly banter at the desk with Mike and Anya to the handball gang, the regulars in the weight room, tennis players and women in the locker room it has added up to be the friendliest and healthiest place to spend time. We are absolutely loving the club, and all is going well. We love the racket ball courts and the classes. Although I haven’t peeled myself away from zoomba yet, I plan to take a yoga class with some neighbors of mine starting next week.

I have rejoined after 15 years, the club is great and meets all of my expectations. I am taking yoga, water zumba, and zumba gold tomorrow. so many nice choices, it is by far the best place in Tucson. thank you!!!

I think the Tucson Racquet Club is awesome. Whether doing some laps in the pool, or walking along the Rillito and then relaxing in the jacuzi, I’m finding I’m glad I joined the TRFC.

To all staff and members,

I just spent a week at your club as a guest of my sister, Joan Liess. I am writing to commend your club for its fun and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was terrific, from Nelson the tennis pro, to Dave the drop-in coordinator, to the servers in the restaurant, and everybody in-between. The members are also friendly and I was made to feel right at home.
