No high fives or shaking hands
If a ball from another court enters your court, return it without touching it with your hands
Use your paddle and foot to pick up pickleballs and transfer them to your opponent. If utilizing a raised net, hit the ball under the net to your opponent
No spitting on courts, bring tissues or a handkerchief for contained sneezing and coughing
Wash your hands and/or sanitize frequently
Masks are not required on court, but please wear them indoors
You will be asked to leave if you do not comply to our policies
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America. Pickleball is a fast-paced paddle sport played on a badminton-sized court with a low net, graphite or composite paddles and a special ball. Pickleball is easy to learn. It is terrific exercise, very social and a ton of fun to play.
Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club has taken the following steps to become the home of outdoor Pickleball play in central Tucson:
Pickleball open play will always be available at no extra charge toTennis and Racquetball/Handball members.
10 session-punch cards for organized drop-in sessions can be purchased by non-members for $60.00.
Ball Machine is available to rent hourly at the front desk.
With the help of volunteer Pickleball-playing members, we are offering organized drop-in sessions 7 days a week. Basic lessons and games will be offered to beginning players and competitive games will be open to more experienced players.
Balls will be provided at all open play sessions as well as paddles for guests and new members.

For players who DO NOT have a USAPA rating and don’t play tournaments. You may take a IPTPA skill test with our club pro Sean Rickards. Here is the link to all players interested in taking an IPTPA skills test in order to qualify for the USAPA rated league play. Once they sign up under this link it will let Sean know and he will contact you for a date and explain his fee.
